My previous dentist did not really discuss treatment options in any detail, I would just be told what was the "best" option. By contrast, Carl explained the pros and cons (and costs!) of a range of treatment options, allowing me to make an informed decision about my care. In recent visits regarding my one tricky tooth, Carl's recommendation has been to continue to watch and wait. He won't suggest you get any work done unless it is necessary.
